Choosing a 13 amp hot tub
13 amp or 32 amp?
A 13 amp supply gives you about 3kW. That is enough for the heater or the jets at full power, but not both at once, so the heater pauses while the jets run on high. After a long soak the water takes longer to come back up to temperature. A 32 amp hot tub runs both together and heats faster, but needs its own circuit.
For weekends and holiday lets, 13 amps is usually enough. If you soak most evenings, or all through the winter, a 32 amp model will keep up better.
What you still need
Plug and play doesn't mean any socket will do. The hot tub needs its own weatherproof, RCD-protected outdoor socket, fitted by a qualified electrician. Never run it from an extension lead.
Our 13 amp hot tubs
Up to 4 seats
The Tahiti has two seats, a lounger and 36 jets in a 2.13 x 1.65m footprint. That is the most jets of any 13 amp model. The St. Lucia has four upright seats and 23 jets in 2.15 x 1.80m.
6 and 7 seats
The Reims has five seats and a lounger. The St Tropez seats seven, with no lounger. Both are 2.0m square with 25 jets.
For holiday lets
Our Vacation models have no Bluetooth speakers for guests to tamper with. The Vacation Retreat has the same footprint as the St. Lucia and runs from 13 or 32 amps. The Vacation Lounge has a lounger and the Vacation Social is an all seater, both 2.0m square. See our Vacation range.
