A 5 person hot tub has room for the family to soak together, and plenty of space to stretch out when it's just you. Every one of ours has at least one full-length lounger, so you can lie back with jets working along your back, legs and feet. They run from 2.0m to 2.3m square.

The Happy, Kenya, Barcelona and Onyx have three seats and two loungers. The Positano and Portofino from our Luxury range have four seats and one lounger. Like all our hot tubs, they are insulated for use all year round. The Onyx has the most jets, with 90.

Choosing a 5 person hot tub

How much space does a 5 person hot tub need?

  • 2.0m square: Happy
  • 2.1m square: Kenya and Positano
  • 2.2m square: Onyx
  • 2.23m square: Barcelona
  • 2.3m square: Portofino

Leave at least 30cm clear on every side for installation and servicing, plus room to fold the cover back. Hot tubs are delivered on their side, so the path into your garden needs to be a little wider than the tub is tall, from 0.90m for the Happy to 0.95m for the Portofino.

One lounger or two?

Loungers suit relaxation and hydrotherapy. You lie back with jets along your back, legs and feet. Two loungers let two people do that at once, with three seats for everyone else. One lounger leaves room for four upright seats.

The Happy is our most affordable 5 seater, with 47 jets and two loungers in a 2.0m square.

Premium range

A 5 inch Balboa touchscreen and three seats with two loungers. The Kenya has 52 jets in a 2.1m square. The Barcelona has 86 jets and three pumps. The Onyx has 90 jets on four pumps and won a WhatSpa? Best Buy Award in 2025.

Luxury range

A 7 inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi and app control, four-stage filtration and our most heat-efficient insulation. The Positano has 62 jets in a 2.1m square. The Portofino has 66 jets in a 2.3m square and also won a WhatSpa? Best Buy Award in 2025.

Ours run from 2.0m square (Happy) to 2.3m square (Portofino). Leave at least 30cm clear on every side for servicing, plus room to fold the cover back. If you're not sure it fits, book a free home survey.

Full of water, the Positano weighs 1,605 kg, the Barcelona 1,740 kg and the Portofino 1,760 kg, before anyone gets in. It needs a flat, level concrete slab or a reinforced deck that carries that weight across the whole footprint.

A dedicated 32 amp circuit, or 40 amp for the Onyx. None of our 5 seaters run from a 13 amp plug. A qualified electrician should fit a weatherproof, RCD-protected connection outdoors.
