Choosing a 5 person hot tub

How much space does a 5 person hot tub need?

  • 6 ft 11 in square: Positano
  • 7 ft 4 in square: Barcelona
  • 7 ft 7 in square: Portofino

Leave about a foot clear on every side for service, plus room to fold the cover back. Hot tubs are delivered on their side, so the path into your backyard needs to be at least 37 inches wide.

One lounger or two?

Loungers suit relaxation and hydrotherapy. You lie back with jets along your back, legs and feet. The Barcelona has two loungers and three seats. The Positano and Portofino have one lounger and four seats.

Premium range

The Barcelona has 86 jets, three pumps and a 5 inch Balboa touchscreen.

Luxury range

A 7 inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi and app control, four-stage filtration and Platinum Premium Shield Plus insulation. The Positano has 62 jets in 6 ft 11 in square. The Portofino has 66 jets in 7 ft 7 in square.

The Barcelona, with two full-length loungers and three seats. The Positano and Portofino each have one lounger and four seats.

Our 5-seaters run from 6 ft 11 in square (Positano) to 7 ft 7 in square (Portofino). Leave at least 12 inches on every side for service access, plus room to fold the cover back.

The Positano and Portofino come with four-stage filtration, Wi-Fi and app control as standard, plus a 7-inch touchscreen. They also carry a 7-year warranty on the shell surface, against 5 years on other ranges.

A dedicated 60 amp, 240V circuit with GFCI protection, installed by a licensed electrician. Most cities require a permit for the work.

*Bluetooth sound system is removed on vacation models to prevent tampering and breakages.
