Luxury just got darker
The all-new Matte Black finish is now available across the entire Platinum Spas Luxury Range.
Striking, modern, and unapologetically premium. This is the color trend defining high-end outdoor living in 2025. From first glance, it commands attention.
Matte Black is already becoming the go-to choice for those who want their spa to stand out - not blend in. And it’s not just beautiful. It’s smarter, too.
Lifetime warranty on the shell structure
Up to 3 years on parts In the Sicily hot tub, the Ozone system is a part of the normal circulation system that oxidizes bacteria, keeping your water fresh and clean. It comes after the heater, meaning you don’t need to use as much chlorine for sanitization.
You typically do not need planning permission to install 6-person hot tubs like the Sicily in your own backyard or on your own land.
However, if you live in a listed property, conservation area, or an area of outstanding natural beauty, you should seek advice from your local council and planners before installation.
Our installation experts are also on hand to give professional advice. Contact us online to organize a consultation.
Platinum Spas’ Sicily hot tub has a maximum water capacity of 305 gallons, which, as a rule, you should change every 3 to 4 months. It is good practice to change your water more often than this if your Sicily hot tub sees a lot of use.
The reason you need to change your water after a while is that there is an upper limit to how many times you can add chemicals to your spa to maintain it before they simply stop having any effect.
As of February 2026, running any hot tub typically costs only a little per day, depending on your energy rate.
This means you would likely spend a modest monthly amount on hot tub running costs, taking into account the three main budgeting factors:
