How long does a hot tub take to heat up?

Balboa control systems on every model, from a six-button panel to a 7 inch touchscreen with Wi-Fi and an app that runs the tub from anywhere.
Every range runs on Balboa hardware, the control system most of the hot tub industry standardises on, which means parts and service knowledge are available everywhere. What changes between ranges is the panel you touch.
Deluxe has a six-button panel with a 2 inch LCD, which covers temperature, jets, lights and filtration without a menu to learn. Premium moves to a 5 inch HD touchscreen. Luxury has a 7 inch HD touchscreen with Wi-Fi built in.
The Luxury range interface runs on a dual-core 800MHz processor, so it responds the moment you touch it and moves through every function without lag. Temperature, pumps, lighting, audio and filtration schedules sit on one full-colour screen.
Wi-Fi is integrated rather than added, so the tub joins your home network on day one and the app works without a separate module.
With Wi-Fi standard on every Luxury model, the ControlMySpa app puts the tub on your phone. Set the temperature from the office so it is ready when you get home. Run the jets, change the lights, check the status. Set heating and filtration schedules that match your week, so the tub heats when you use it and idles when you do not.
Alerts arrive as push notifications, so a heater fault or a low flow warning reaches you before it becomes a cold tub.
The touchscreen ranges let you programme filtration cycles and temperature profiles around your routine. A tub that filters overnight on a cheaper tariff and holds a lower setback temperature midweek costs less to run than one held at 38 degrees around the clock.
On Luxury, the same schedules are editable from the app, so a change of plan on Friday afternoon is a thirty second job.
Balboa offers a Wi-Fi module for its control systems that your dealer can fit. Integrated Wi-Fi and the ControlMySpa app are standard on Luxury only.
The tub keeps running on its last settings. Wi-Fi is a remote control, not a dependency. Everything is still available on the panel.
Yes. The panels are designed for a spa environment and respond to wet fingers. They are also rated for outdoor use year round.
