The Onyx hot tub has a slightly different shape to most of the Platinum Spas Premium range, featuring more modern, angled and sharper corners, making it a great choice for contemporary gardens.

Its two-lounger layout makes it a great option if you want your spa to become a dedicated part of your routine. By using the loungers, you’ll get hydrotherapy massage jets directly targeting your back, shoulders, legs and feet all at once. All you have to do is lie back and enjoy.

It features an integrated Bluetooth sound system and is compatible with a Wi-Fi app–based remote control (the Balboa Wi-Fi module can be purchased separately). This makes it an excellent choice for busy family homes, entertaining friends, or a more streamlined solo relaxation experience.

Yes, in fact, it’s ideal for couples because it eliminates arguments over who gets to use the lounger seat! Although the Onyx seats up to five people, its two full-length loungers make it a great choice for couples. Both loungers provide a full-body hydrotherapy massage, allowing two people to enjoy the spa at the same time without compromising on comfort.

The additional seats make the Onyx ideal for families or entertaining guests, giving you the flexibility to enjoy the spa however you choose. If they’re really lucky, you might even let them use a lounger.

A 5 person hot tub is ideal if you want plenty of seating space, without the footprint needed for a large 6-7 seater. Whether your garden is big enough depends not only on the space you have for the hot tub itself, but also on the access routes and space you’ll have clear around the hot tub for maintenance access (this usually requires at least 30cm of additional clearance).
