Platinum Spas offers 20 hot tub models in Canada, from compact 3-seaters for a cottage deck to 7-seat tubs for the backyard. Every model uses Platinum Premium Shield insulation to hold its heat through a Canadian winter, and an authorized dealer sells, delivers and installs every one.

Four models plug into a standard 120V outlet: the Tahiti, St. Lucia, Reims and St Tropez. The Tahiti and St. Lucia can also be converted to a 40 amp, 240V supply. That is worth doing if you plan to use the tub all winter, because 240V heats water faster.

The rest of the range runs from a dedicated 240V circuit.

FAQs

Yes. Every model runs year-round. Platinum Premium Shield insulation wraps the shell, cabinet and base, and an insulated cover holds the heat in. Keep the tub running and the cover locked down, and brush heavy snow off the cover so it does not sag.

A 120V tub heats more slowly than a 240V one, which matters most in the coldest months. The Tahiti and St. Lucia start on 120V and can be converted to 40 amp, 240V later. The Reims and St Tropez stay on 120V.

A plug-in model needs a dedicated outdoor outlet with GFCI protection. A 240V model needs a dedicated circuit, usually 50 or 60 amp, installed by a licensed electrician. Most provinces require a permit and inspection for the work.

Every model ordered from January 2026 includes:

  • Lifetime cover on the shell structure.
  • 5 years on the shell surface, or 7 years on the Luxury range.
  • 3 years on the pumps, heater and controls.
  • 2 years on plumbing, the cabinet, jets, lights and the cover.
